We believe Taz” brings to the South Australian Show Ring many attributes that embody the Correct Female Shiba Breed Characteristics, as desired in the Japanese Nippo Standard.

“Taz” is the first black & tan bred by Aaczar Kennels.

"Taz" was named, in line with our Australian theme, after the Tasmanian Devil. Because of her colour, voice and attitude. Maybe not such a good idea as she is certainly living up to her name.

Tara Jones named Taz as she was the special person who would own this “Amba” daughter. Tara loves her to bits (most times). Taz has settled into Tara’s household like a dream. Her best friend is the big fluffy grey cat. They play together and share each others food. The Malamutes have had their hearts stolen by this in your face little monster child.

She is developing just like her mother “Amba” and her half sister “Wombat”. It will take a couple of years for her to reach her full potential.

She is a real handful in the show ring. She either wants to go flat out or will drop her butt and refuse to move. She gets a most determined look on her face. Her handlers have realised this is not the time to laugh at her. It encourages her to really put on a show for everyone around. When she finally decides to move she really flies. Exhibiting the same clean sound movement as her mother. Taz has returned to the ring after a break to mature and renew her coat.

She is always on the go and never stops. She loves all other dogs and does not fear anything. That is except for those water meters down the street. They just might jump out and grab her unless she races past them.

"Taz" like her father “Cash” has the correct Black, Tan & Urajiro markings as required by the Japanese "Nippo" Standard, the required "Used Iron Kettle" colouration to the coat is also present.
