I first became involved in Shiba
Inu in 1994, and registered this Kennel name in
2000.
Having moved on from breed to
breed over the years, I started (Albeit very
briefly) with a Samoyed and then moved onto
German Shepherd Dogs (Feldspan) in the late
70's, Exhibited a Newfoundland in the 80's. A
after seeing Tina Spurling's Shiba Inu in the
90's I decided that, seeing age was creeping up
on me, this was the Breed for me to show. I
didn’t think they moved very fast. It came as
quite a shock to find out, the hard way, just
how fast this breed can move.
It was too late to change my mind
as this breed had found a place in my heart. So
"Aaczar Shiba Inu Kennels" came to be.
Aaczar Shiba Inu are exhibited
most weekends. If I show only one or two they
travel to Shows on the back seat of the car in
their boxes, with the exception of Amba who
"lords" it over the others by travelling sitting
on the seat in her harness, (which she loves, as
she can see all that the others can't.) Of
course, if we travel away the trailer becomes
their second home.
Now-a-days when-ever my Shiba are
shown it generally develops into a discussion
who will handle them, as so many people enjoy
them in the ring, Tara Jones (Alaskan Malamute),
Dianne Brown (Samoyed), and if she can, my Wife,
(Nicky), may occasionally get the lead in her
hands.
After searching for many years
for a Black & Tan Shiba Inu to Show, I have
finally achieved this goal. "Suteki Benkei
Kuroichi" has joined the Kennel here. |
